The Architect Enrique Norten and Mónica Aspe were the sponsors of this outstanding group of students.
The ceremony took place at the Mexico City Club de Industriales.
Quiero Casa had the honor of accompanying Fundación Construyendo y Creciendo, to celebrate the graduation of construction workers who finished their studies with the support of the foundation in the classrooms that were set up in different construction projects.
The event was held on July 11 at the Mexico City Club de Industriales with the support of Ion Financiera, Gerdau Corsa, Adhetec, GP Vivienda, USG, and Cuervo Tradicional. There the effort of a 47 students was recognized, who with great dedication were able to obtain their certificate of studies with official validity from the SEP.
The students in company of their family members received their literacy certificates, as well as for primary, secondary, and even high school studies, Labor and Human Development Training records were also given.
Roxana Fabris, Executive President of Construyendo y Creciendo, highlighted that “for the Foundation, the students are a pride that fill us with hope, since they represent an example for our country, since we are a nation with many possibilities and sometimes what we are missing are opportunities and you have demonstrated it.”
“It is an honor to be able to sponsor this group of workers that today reached a very important level in their development. You are the great heroes of the construction of this country,” highlighted Enrique Norten.
On the other hand, Mónica Aspe affirmed feeling honored by being a part of this cause and invited the graduates to continue studying in the classrooms to reach even greater opportunities.
Later, Nabor Hernández, a 53-year-old construction worker who graduated from secondary school mentioned: “I have turned into a better citizen thanks to the education that I received in the classroom, now I can go through the world fearlessly because I already know how to read and write, I want to thank all the architects, engineers, companies, and everyone who makes it possible for people like me to be able to study.”
Committed to the educational development of construction workers, now with 12 years of work, Fundación Construyendo y Creciendo has more than 27,000 beneficiaries who decided to change their lives through education.
